I’ve recently run across some EXTREMELY interesting studies on the relationship between coconut oil and weight loss and how this superfood can help you burn your stubborn belly fat everyday naturally.
I know you’ve heard big claims before and this may sound too good to be true but what I’m about to share with you has been purposely made hidden from you for decades, and I’ll tell you why in a minute.
Dr. Oz in his popular show called Coconut Oil Superpowers concluded that the use of virgin coconut oil is as a tool for weight loss by speeding up metabolism. He referred coconut oil as “the miracle fat that fights fat” and “this is the fat you eat to lose the fat you don’t want”.
It turns out that The Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) in Coconut Oil are actually some of the most healthy “good for you” fats occurring in nature.
And for dozens of years, doctors told patients to AVOID these (actually GOOD) fats because they cause health problems.
The REALITY, proven by 1,000s of studies and already tested by many people, is that COCONUT OIL (and the MCTs in it) convince your metabolism to burn calories faster, work harder, and (as a result) melt away the stubborn abdominal “belly fat” that’s a leading cause of heart disease and metabolic disorders.
The first study is from The Journal of Nutrition where the studies of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) are investigated by researchers.
They found that these MCFAs in coconut oil can boost your metabolism and increase your energy. They also decrease in food consumption because they make you feel full longer therefore help promote weight loss.
Conclusion: The MCTs (coconut oil fat) increase energy expenditure, result in faster satiety and facilitate weight control when included in the diet as a replacement for fats containing LCTs (long-chain triglycerides).
The second study was published in ISRN Pharmacology titled “An Open-Label Pilot Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Virgin Coconut Oil in Reducing Visceral Adiposity”
Conclusion: The high concentration of MCFAs (medium chain fatty acids) are found in virgin coconut oil which in the study had shown beneficial effect in reduction of waist circumference.
Forty-nine overweight men and women, aged 19-50 years old, consumed either 18-24 grams/day of MCT oil or olive oil as part of a weight-loss program for 16 weeks.
